The creation and
formation of the USPA southeast chapter was the foresight and vision of
Ambassador Juan Sosa and was formally announced during “Panama Week” in
Washington, DC on October 18 & 19, 2007. The inauguration of the
southeast chapter was on July 15, 2008 in Atlanta, Georgia. The
Honorable Carmen Gisela Vergara, Minister of Commerce & Industry of the
Republic of Panama was the keynote speaker at the inaugural event.
