USPA-SE  A New Canal To
Business Opportunities And Trade

The primary objectives of the U.S. Panama Business Council Southeast Chapter (USPA-SE) is to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between the United States and Panama through the creation of business opportunities, facilitating trade and investments, and to promote strategic alliances and joint ventures between the two nations. Panama in the news

President Martinelli has announced the launch of the country’s first free-of-charge internet access project Internet Para Todos, BNamericas reports.

On January 4 President Martinelli met with members of the United States Congress to discuss the stalled Free Trade Agreement between the two nations.

The Inter-American Development Bank today approved a $100 million policy based loan to support Panama’s efforts to reduce its fiscal deficit, strengthen its social security system and prepare its economy for competition under free trade.
