The membership of the USPA
SE Chapter shall be open to all individuals, corporations,
proprietorships, associations, partnerships, and clubs interested in the
promotion of the objectives and purposes of this corporation and who are
deemed qualified for membership under the terms established by the USPA
SE Board of Directors and have met all conditions for membership.
Members of the USPA SE are aligned with other businesses and individuals
in an organization that are working to strengthen the long-term economic
vitality of its members and the community.
Individual Membership:
Annual Membership Fee: $200.00
The Individual Member shall be any reputable person who has a
reasonable and substantial interest in economic and cultural development
between the United States and Panama and who sincerely desires to
further the purposes of this Corporation may be approved as a member by
the Membership Committee as provided herein. Membership in the
Corporation shall reside with the individual and is not transferable,
unless otherwise provided by a written agreement between USPA SE Board
of Directors and the member.
Student/Intern Membership:
Annual Membership Fee: $25.00
The Student Member shall be any reputable person who is currently a
student in an accredited undergraduate or graduate institution or a
recent graduate (within 1 year of graduation) and has a reasonable and
substantial interest in economic and cultural development between the
United States and Panama and who sincerely desires to further the
purposes of this Corporation may be approved as a Student member by the
Membership Committee as provided herein. Membership in the Corporation
shall reside with the individual and is not transferable, unless
otherwise provided by a written agreement between USPA SE Board of
Directors and the member.

Update Quarterly Newsletter - The quarterly newsletter is sent to
all members and includes information regarding upcoming events and
member opportunities. The newsletter also announces new memberships

Sponsorship - A variety of events and publications are available for
businesses to promote their products and services including the
Panama Day-Southeast, Business to Business Expo, New Member
Receptions, Business Improvement Forums, Business at Breakfast,
Annual Event and more. (Fees vary)
Internet - The
USPA Southeast website lists member contact information including
links to their websites. Users can also search for USPA members by
name or category.
Membership
Directory - Each member is listed in the directory alphabetically
and by trade. Each member business is given a directory to use to
patronize other members and the directory is also available on the
USPA website.
Referrals - USPA
members are always referred when product or service information is
requested at the USPA office.
Sponsorship/Advertising Opportunities - A variety of events and
publications are available for businesses to promote their products
and services including the Membership Directory, Business
Connection, Panama Spectacular in Panama, Panama Day- USA,
Luncheons, and Business at Breakfasts. (Fees vary)
Network With Other Business People
Ambassador
Program - Attend ribbon cuttings and other special events on behalf
of the USPA Southeast Region.
Business After
Hours - These evening receptions are hosted quarterly by member
businesses as a great opportunity to network with members and
guests.
Business at
Breakfast - A quarterly morning event to help you connect with other
business people in an informal setting and promote your business.
This program is purposely limited to the first 20 registrants to
give each business a good share of time, and attendees are
encouraged to distribute promotional brochures, business cards and
other marketing materials.
New Member
Reception – Quarterly or Annually luncheon to welcome new members
and introduce them to the USPA community.

Memberships Fee Return Policy: The U.S. – Panama
Business Council Southeast Chapter (USPA-SE) accepts credit card
payments from the web, by phone, fax, and mail for memberships
and membership renewals as well as for some sponsorship and
advertising opportunities. Since memberships (upon approval)
provide immediate access to our services and benefits, and such
access cannot be "returned”, USPA-SE memberships are not
typically refundable or transferable transactions. Nonetheless,
requests for refunds are reviewed individually. If refunds are
issued they are subject to an administrative fee of $50. If any
member provides “members only” site access codes to unauthorized
third parties, USPA-SE reserves the right to terminate the
membership without refund. Members are only authorized to "lend"
members only site access information to his or her spouse,
member company registered member(s), or member company
partner. Sponsorship fees are not refundable unless the event
is cancelled.
